House Rules
Strictly no schoolies, parties, or events. Mature guests only. The property is patrolled by security. If neighbors complain or the police are called this could affect your bond and we have reserved the right to evict guests. Booking reservations can only be confirmed once the verification process has been successfully completed. Pets are welcome but must be cleaned up during/ after the stay. Read and accept our terms and conditions. Council Short Stay Accommodation Code of Conduct rules applies. All guests must abide by the terms and conditions below: TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. ACCEPTANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. CHECK IN / OUT Check-in time is 3 p.m., and check-out time is 10 a.m. When your booking is confirmed, refer to the house manual for the key location and your unique code. 3. SECURITY BOND A bond payment of $1,000 is allocated to the booking. Any damage, loss, or expense incurred by management as a result of breaching these terms and conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but are not limited to, any breakage, damage, or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared, complaints made against you, etc. 4. PARTIES AND FUNCTIONS Parties are not allowed, and noise and music must be kept to a minimum due to surrounding permanent residency. This property is located in a residential street. No loud music is to be played after 8 p.m. on weekdays, including Sunday, and after 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Disobeying these rules may result in losing your bond and being evicted from the property. 5. PETS Pets are welcome at the home, please ensure they are not on the beds or lounge and also well cleaned up after. 6. LINEN AND TOWELS All linen and towels are included in your stay. Lost or damaged linen/towels may incur costs. 7. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS If a complaint is raised, guests will be contacted on the phone number provided on the booking request. Please ensure this number is correct. If we cannot contact you within 15 minutes of receiving the complaint or if the noise issues are not rectified after speaking, we will arrange for a security patrol car to attend the home to investigate the complaint. If this were to occur, then guests would be charged $300 + GST. Any complaint that cannot be resolved locally must be notified in writing to management prior to departure from the property. We recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance since management is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur while staying at our property. 8. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES You must comply with all applicable house rules for the property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the property and our neighbours. You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Only the guests agreed to in the booking may stay overnight at the property. If more guests stay than the agreed number, all guests may be terminated without a refund. Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges and all rubbish put in the rubbish bins provided. Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for cleaning dirty dishes, the dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removing excessive rubbish, etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs above the normal cleaning fee, which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card. All furniture and furnishings must be left in their position when you arrive. The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors must be locked. All keys must be returned to the safety box at the end of your stay. You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. If you lose them, duplicate keys will be provided at an additional charge of $150. Smoking is not permitted in the house. Thank you for abiding by the terms and conditions.
