Ascend the stairs and step into Lisieux, a charming retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. As you walk down the hallway, you'll be welcomed into the open-plan living, dining, and sitting areas, where the vintage style and functionality blend seamlessly. The living room features a couch and a TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With its elegant table, the dining area invites you to enjoy leisurely meals and quality time with loved ones. One of the home's highlights is the private sitting area, offering breathtaking beach sunsets—our absolute favourite spot. Further along the hallway, you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms accommodating up to six guests. For your convenience, the apartment includes a bathroom with a bathtub and an overhead shower, as well as a washing machine and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a microwave, oven and stove, so you can easily prepare meals to enjoy at the elegant dining table. Adjacent to the kitchen, a dedicated sitting area with a study desk and chair provides a quiet workspace for travellers who need to stay connected. Step outside onto the balcony, where you can enjoy alfresco dining with a BBQ, outdoor table, and seating area. Guests also have access to a fully fenced, secure backyard. There is 4-hour free parking directly out front on Beaconsfield Parade. No permanent or ongoing parking available. Enjoy the convenience of having a supermarket nearby and light rail access for a direct route to the CBD. With its charming vintage furnishings, Lisieux offers a luxurious yet cozy home away from home. The house is in a residential street with surrounding permanent tenants, so we only rent to mature guests who will remain respectful to our neighbours. The house will be used for relaxation-style holidaying; loud parties are prohibited.
House Rules
There are strictly no schoolies, parties, or events. We welcome mature guests only. The property is patrolled by security. If neighbours complain or the police are called, this could affect your bond, and we have reserved the right to evict guests. Booking reservations can only be confirmed once the verification process has been completed. Please read and accept our terms and conditions. Council Short Stay Accommodation Code of Conduct rules apply. All guests must abide by the terms and conditions below: 1. ACCEPTANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. CHECK-IN / OUT Check-in time is 3 p.m., and check-out time is 10 a.m. When booking is confirmed, refer to the house manual for the key location and unique code. 3. SECURITY BOND A bond payment is allocated to the booking. Management will charge the bond for any damage, loss, or expense incurred due to breaching these terms and conditions. Examples include, but are not limited to, breakage, damage, excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared, complaints against you, etc. 4. PARTIES AND FUNCTIONS Parties are not allowed, and noise and music must be kept to a minimum due to surrounding permanent residency. This property is on a residential street. No loud music will be played after 8 pm on weekdays, including Sunday, and after 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Disobeying these rules may result in losing your bond and being evicted from the property. 5. PETS Pets are not allowed at this home. 6. LINEN AND TOWELS All linen and towels are supplied for your convenience. Lost or damaged hired linen/towels may incur costs. 7. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS If a complaint is raised, guests will be contacted at the phone number on the booking request. Please ensure this number is correct. If we cannot contact you within 15 minutes of receiving the complaint or if the noise issues are not rectified after speaking, we will arrange for a security patrol car to attend the home to investigate the complaint. If this were to occur, guests would be charged $300 + GST. Any complaint that cannot be resolved locally must be notified in writing to management before departure from the property. We recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance since management is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur while staying at our property. 8. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES You must comply with all applicable house rules for the property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the property and our neighbours. You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of property during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Only the guests who agreed to the booking may stay overnight at the property. If more guests stay than the agreed number, all guests may be terminated without a refund. Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, and all rubbish must be put in the rubbish bins provided in the garage. Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for cleaning dirty dishes, washing the machine, washing the dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removing excessive rubbish, etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the standard cleaning fee, which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card. All furniture and furnishings must be left in their position when you arrive. The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned to the safety box at the end of your stay. You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. If the keys are lost, duplicate keys will be provided at an additional charge of $100. There are external cameras located at the front and rear exit doors.
